Market outlook
Stable Outlook 6/10
The available sources suggest active availability and no evidence of extreme scarcity or major auction-driven price spikes. Demand is likely supported by character popularity and set theme, but supply should remain adequate given a standard modern release.
Next months. Likely to trade in a stable range unless a major competitive or collector trend develops around Bonney.
Long term. Over 1-3 years, the card could slowly appreciate if Egghead remains a fan-favorite arc and clean full-art leader copies become harder to find, but it is unlikely to behave like a top-tier chase card without a rarer variant.
History
ジュエリー・ボニー is a major character in ONE PIECE, known as a member of the Worst Generation and captain of the Bonney Pirates. She is the daughter of Bartholomew Kuma and has strong narrative significance in the Egghead arc, where her backstory, identity, and connection to Kuma become central to the plot. The card uses the Egghead-era depiction of Bonney, which increases collector interest because it ties directly to one of the series’ most important modern storylines.[1][7][8]
First released in Japan in the Extra Booster EGGHEAD CRISIS [EB-04] on January 31, 2026.[1][5][8]
- This is the Leader card EB04-001, making it the first numbered card in the EB-04 set.[2][9]
- The set contains 67+1 card variants and was released as the fourth Extra Booster for the ONE PIECE Card Game.[1]
- Official promotional material highlights Jewelry Bonney as the featured visual for the EB-04 release, indicating she is a flagship card of the product line.[7][8]
Collector notes
Condition. Check the card front and back for edge whitening, corner wear, surface scratches, and centering. Japanese full-art leader cards are especially prone to holo/foil scuffing, print lines, and slight warping from foil pressure or humidity. For raw copies, look closely at the title bar, borders, and textured foil areas for factory defects versus handling wear.[3]
Storage. Store in a perfect-fit sleeve, then a rigid top loader or card saver for raw copies. Keep the card in a dry, temperature-stable environment away from direct light. For long-term storage, use sealed team bags or graded-card sleeves to reduce moisture exposure and preserve the foil surface.
Authenticity. Verify the Japanese card name, set code EB04-001, and expected leader layout. Compare font sharpness, holo pattern alignment, and print saturation against known authentic copies. Counterfeits often show blurry text, incorrect foil texture, dull coloring, or inconsistent backing. Because this is a modern Japanese release, authentication is easiest by matching the exact EB-04 leader template and printed collector numbering.[1][2]
