This disclaimer governs your use of the AI-generated grading estimate produced by TCG AI Pro (the "TCGAI Score"). It must be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. What the TCGAI Score Is
The TCGAI Score is a proprietary numeric estimate produced by our own AI models from the photographs you upload. It is presented on a 0–10 scale with sub-scores for Centering, Corners, Edges and Surface. It is intended for informational and entertainment purposes only.
2. What the TCGAI Score Is Not
- It is not an official grade.
- It is not a prediction of the grade you might receive from any third-party grading company.
- It is not equivalent to, a substitute for, or an emulation of any grading scale belonging to any third-party grading company (including but not limited to PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, HGA, TAG, GMA or Beckett).
- It is not an authentication, valuation, appraisal or insurance value.
- It is not financial advice.
3. No Affiliation with Third-Party Grading Companies
TCG AI Pro and its operator are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, partnered with, or in any way connected to PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, HGA, TAG, GMA, Beckett or any other third-party grading company. Any mention of those names in our Service exists only to clarify that distinction. All such names and marks are the property of their respective owners.
4. Inherent Limits of AI Analysis
AI analysis depends entirely on the photographs you provide. Lighting, angle, image resolution, glare, holographic patterns, dirt on the lens or on the card, focus, motion blur and other factors affect the result. Two photographs of the same card may produce different TCGAI Scores. The TCGAI Score does not detect every defect a human professional grader would detect under magnification.
5. No Liability for Differences with Third-Party Grades
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TCG AI Pro and its operator shall not be liable for:
- Any difference, in any direction, between a TCGAI Score and a grade subsequently issued by any third-party grading company.
- Any cost, fee, lost sale, lost trade, lost profit, refused submission, return shipping cost, devaluation or other loss arising from or alleged to arise from such a difference.
- Any decision you, a buyer, a seller, an insurer, a tax authority or any other party take based on a TCGAI Score, sub-score, market estimate or TCGAI certificate page.
By using the Service you expressly waive any claim against TCG AI Pro and its operator based on any such difference or decision.
6. Prohibited Uses of the TCGAI Score
You agree that you will not:
- Represent the TCGAI Score, the sub-scores or our internal certificate to any third party as an official, professional or third-party grade.
- Use the TCGAI Score, screenshots of it or our internal certificate in listings, sales, trades or marketing in a way that suggests certification by a third-party grading company.
- Modify, alter or remove the disclaimers shown on or alongside the TCGAI Score and certificate page.
7. Acceptance Required
You will be asked to read and accept this disclaimer (together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy) before using the pre-grading service. The fact that you accepted, the version you accepted, the timestamp, your IP address and your User-Agent are recorded in our system as evidence of consent.
