Market outlook
Stable Outlook 5/10
The base card is already broadly available and tends to trade within a narrow low-to-mid price band. Price movement is more likely to be influenced by grading demand, character popularity, and broader One Piece card game interest than by true scarcity.
Next months. Likely stable with small fluctuations tied to condition and grading premium.
Long term. Modest gradual appreciation is possible for gem-mint copies, while raw copies should remain relatively affordable unless set-wide nostalgia demand rises.
History
Kid and Killer are members of the Kid Pirates in One Piece, with Eustass Kid serving as the captain and Killer as his right-hand fighter. In the One Piece card game, this pairing represents a well-known aggressive red combat duo associated with the Supernovas/Kid Pirates theme and the franchise’s Wano-era prominence.
First released in Japan in Extra Booster: Memorial Collection (EB-01) in May 2024 as card EB01-003.
- Japanese release, card number EB01-003, red Character card with 4 cost and 5000 power.
- Has the Rush keyword and a conditional on-attack power boost if the opponent has 2 or fewer Life cards.
- This is widely listed as a foil/full-art style print from the Memorial Collection, and the same collector number later appears across multiple special variants and promotional versions in the market.
Collector notes
Condition. Check the corners, centering, surface gloss, and foil wear along edges and character artwork. Full-art foil cards commonly show scratching, whitening on borders, and print lines or speckling on dark/red areas.
Storage. Use a penny sleeve plus a rigid top loader or card saver, keep away from humidity and heat, and avoid direct handling of the foil surface. For long-term storage, place in an archival binder page or sealed graded holder.
Authenticity. Authentic copies should have crisp Japanese print quality, consistent color saturation, correct EB01-003 numbering, and proper One Piece card back layout. Watch for off-color foil patterning, blurry text, misaligned borders, or overly glossy counterfeit stock; compare typography and spacing against verified scans. If buying high-value copies, prefer sealed sources or graded examples with strong provenance.
