Collector notes
Condition. Inspect centering on full-art borders, check for print lines or scratches on Bulbasaur's seed and foliage, watch for edge whitening or surface scratches common in Japanese stock; NM cards often show minor corner dings.
Storage. Use semi-rigid top loaders with sleeves, store in cool, dry environment away from sunlight to prevent fading on vibrant artwork; avoid stacking without dividers.
Authenticity. Verify Japanese text and SV2a set markings, check holo pattern consistency, use blacklight for foil authenticity; fakes often have blurry art or incorrect font weights; cross-reference with official scans.
