History
Mew is a Mythical Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I (1996), known as the ancestor of all Pokémon with its DNA containing the genetic code of every species. It is extremely rare, capable of flight via psychic powers, and can learn every TM/HM move. In Pokémon lore, Mew was discovered in Guyana and is the focus of the first Pokémon movie, 'Mewtwo Strikes Back,' symbolizing mystery and the pinnacle of Pokémon collecting.
First released October 8, 2021, as part of the Pokémon Celebrations set, a 25th Anniversary special product commemorating the Pokémon Trading Card Game's history.
- This is the Secret Rare #025/025 Holo Shiny Mew, often referred to as the 'Gold Secret Rare' variant despite its silver-shiny holofoil design by artist Saki Hayashiro.

Collector notes
Condition. Check for centering issues on the holo pattern, edge whitening or dings common due to thin card stock, surface scratches on the shiny foil, print lines or dimples from factory handling; avoid cards with clouding on the blue Mew artwork.
Storage. Use semi-rigid or magnetic top-loaders with sleeves, store in cool, dry, UV-free environment; avoid stacking heavy decks on top to prevent pressure dimples.
Authenticity. Legitimate cards have precise holofoil alignment with '025/025' text, sharp dot-matrix pattern on back, no blurry printing; fakes often have off-color Mew (too purple/blue), incorrect font spacing on set symbol, or cheap foil that scratches easily; verify via official Pokémon TCG scanner apps or graded/graded authentication.
