Long term. Flat unless anime Impel Down flashbacks boost nostalgia; potential 10-20% rise in 2-3 years with set anniversaries

History

Magellan is the warden of Impel Down, the World Government's maximum-security underwater prison in the One Piece universe. A massive, poison-controlling human with the Doku Doku no Mi Devil Fruit powers, he oversees Level 6 and uses his Hydra technique for devastating attacks. His significance peaks during the Impel Down Arc where he battles Luffy, Ivankov, and escapees, nearly defeating them with his potent poison abilities, establishing him as a key antagonist with strategic deck disruption in the TCG.

Collector notes

Condition. Check for centering on alternate art borders, print lines on purple holo foil, edge whitening from sleeves, surface scratches on glossy finish; common flaws include clouding on holo pattern and corner dings from play

Storage. Use penny sleeves + top loaders or Dragon Shields for raw cards; store in cool, dry, UV-free environment away from direct light to prevent holo oxidation; avoid stacking unsleeved

Authenticity. Verify holo pattern consistency and font sharpness against official scans; check card weight/thickness (genuine ~0.3mm); graded/graded slabs confirm authenticity; fakes often have blurry text or incorrect DON!! icons
