History

Mew is a Mythical Pokémon from Generation I, known as the ancestor of all Pokémon with its DNA containing genetic information of every Pokémon species; it is extremely rare, capable of flight via psychic powers, and holds immense significance as a symbol of Pokémon lore and collector appeal.

First released in the Sword & Shield: Crown Zenith set's Galarian Gallery subset in February 2023 in English.
