Market outlook
Declining Outlook 4/10
Recent 30-day drop of -54.3% in raw NM prices and consistently low sale values around $3-$5 reflect waning collector interest post-release[1]
Next months. Stable to further decline, prices likely $2-$6 in next 3-6 months due to market saturation.
Long term. Minimal growth over 1-3 years unless Tyranitar receives meta relevance or reprints boost nostalgia.

Collector notes
Condition. Check for centering issues on the full art borders, print defects on the rocky texture, edge whitening, surface scratches on the holo foil, and corner dings common in Illustration Rares due to their size and thin stock.
Storage. Store in semi-rigid or top-loader sleeves with cardboard backing in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight to prevent holo oxidation; use card savers for raw copies and slabs for graded ones.
Authenticity. Verify black market symbol and set logo alignment; authentic cards have sharp holo patterns and correct font on numbering; compare to official scans on Pokémon TCG sites; fakes often have blurry art or incorrect pull rate indicators.
