History
Charizard is the iconic Fire/Flying-type Pokémon from Generation 1 (Pokédex #006), the final evolution of Charmander via Charmeleon. Mega Charizard X, introduced in Pokémon X and Y (Generation 6, 2013), is its Mega Evolved form using Charizardite X, shifting to Fire/Dragon-type with a black and blue design, enhanced speed, and the ability Tough Claws. It is one of the most popular and sought-after Pokémon cards due to Charizard's flagship status in the franchise.

Collector notes
Condition. Check for centering issues on Full Art borders, surface scratches on holo pattern, edge whitening from shuffling, print lines on black background; common flaws include minor corner dings and finger prints on glossy finish
Storage. Use semi-rigid or top-loader holders with cardboard inserts in cool, dry environment; avoid direct sunlight to prevent holo fading; sleeve in Dragon Shield or Ultra Pro for stacking
Authenticity. Verify Japanese katakana text and set code 080/110 on back; check holo pattern alignment and foil quality; fakes often have blurry artwork or incorrect fonts; use UV light for hologram authenticity; cross-reference with official scan databases like Bulbapedia
