Collector notes
Condition. Check for centering issues on the full-art screaming Psyduck illustration, edge wear from promo handling, surface scratches on the glossy finish, and print defects mimicking confusion effects; common flaws include corner dings from store distribution and fingerprints on the face area.
Storage. Store in semi-rigid holders or top-loaders with sleeves in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight to prevent fading of the vibrant 'Scream'-inspired colors; use acid-free materials for long-term preservation.
Authenticity. Verify Japanese text, promo stamp, and exact artwork matching official scans from Bulbapedia; fakes often have blurry 'The Scream' background or incorrect holo pattern; check graded population reports for serial consistency and consult holograms under UV light.
