Pikachu

Market outlook

Stable Outlook 2/10

The available evidence identifies the card as a common with multiple versions and does not establish a sustained price trend.

Next months. No reliable trend can be established from the available information.

Long term. Likely to remain primarily a low-cost collector or set-completion card; no print-run or sustained sales evidence supports a stronger forecast.

History

Pikachu is Pokémon #0025, a Lightning-type Pokémon.

The original 018/091 card was printed in Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates, released January 26, 2024. A stamped Cosmos Holo version appeared in the 2024 Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle, launched August 30, 2024.

• The card number alone does not distinguish the two versions: Paldean Fates has a Common Pikachu, while the 2024 Trick or Trade version has a Halloween Pikachu stamp and a Cosmos Holo finish.
• The supplied rarity of Common points to the Paldean Fates version, not the Trick or Trade Holo Rare version.

Collector notes

Condition. Check centering, corners, edges, surface scratches, and print lines. Confirm whether the card has the Halloween stamp and Cosmos Holo finish before comparing it with the Common version.

Storage. Store in a clean sleeve and rigid holder, away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight.

Authenticity. Compare the card number, artwork, finish, and any Halloween stamp with reliable reference images. A genuine Trick or Trade version has a Pikachu jack-o'-lantern stamp; the Paldean Fates Common does not.
