History
Mew is a Mythical Pokémon, number 151 in the Pokédex, known as the 'Ancestor of Pokémon.' It is a small, pink, cat-like creature with immense psychic powers, capable of learning every TM/HM move. Mew's significance stems from its role as the genetic progenitor of all Pokémon, first appearing in the Pokémon franchise via the first movie 'Pokémon: The First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back' in 1998, and as a highly sought-after event Pokémon in games like Pokémon Red/Blue.
First released in the Pokémon TCG Sword & Shield: Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery subset on January 20, 2023, in the United States as part of the final Sword & Shield era set.
- This GG10 Mew features stunning full art by Ryota Murayama depicting Mew in a starlit glade with companion Pokémon.
- Crown Zenith was the celebratory capstone set for Sword & Shield, featuring Galarian Gallery as a premium art subset.
- Mew cards are collector favorites due to its iconic status as the rarest Pokémon in the original games.

Collector notes
Condition. Check for centering issues on the intricate full-art border, surface scratches on the holographic foil, edge whitening from sleeves, and print lines on the detailed starry background; common flaws include roller marks and minor corner dings due to foil sensitivity.
Storage. Use high-quality semi-rigid holders or top-loaders with soft inner sleeves; store in cool, dry, UV-protected environments away from direct light to prevent foil oxidation; avoid stacking under heavy pressure.
Authenticity. Verify holographic pattern matches official shimmer with rainbow foil shifts; check font alignment and numbering (GG10/GG70 crisp and consistent); use blacklight for genuine TCG foil glow; consult graded/graded population reports and compare to official scan databases; Italian language versions should have precise 'Mew' text without pixelation.
