Market outlook
Stable Outlook 7/10
The standard OP07-051 version has already established a market price floor and should continue trading steadily because it is both collectible and playable. The card is not among the ultra-rare chase variants, so major spikes are less likely unless Blue control decks or Boa Hancock-specific collecting surges increase interest.
Next months. Likely to remain stable with modest fluctuations tied to grading demand and general One Piece market movement.
Long term. Should hold collector interest well, with graded and mint copies gradually appreciating if print availability tightens and One Piece continues expanding globally.
History
Boa Hancock is one of the most prominent characters in One Piece, serving as the Pirate Empress and ruler of Amazon Lily. She is a former member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea and the captain of the Kuja Pirates. In the One Piece Card Game, her inclusion as a high-power Blue character reflects her status as a major fan-favorite and a politically influential figure in the story. Her card ability also references Monkey D. Luffy, reinforcing her strong narrative connection to the series protagonist.
First released in English and Japanese in the One Piece Card Game set '500 Years in the Future' (OP07), which launched in 2024. This specific card is OP07-051 and debuted as a Super Rare full-art character card in that set.
- This card is Blue, 6 cost, and 8000 power, making it a strong mid-to-late game threat in the One Piece Card Game.
- Its On Play effect can lock down an opposing Character's attack, with a special exception for Monkey.D. Luffy, which is a unique thematic nod to the story.
- The card also removes a small opposing Character by placing it on the bottom of the owner's deck, giving it both tempo control and removal value.

Collector notes
Condition. Check for edge whitening, corner wear, surface scratches, holo scuffing, and centering issues. Full-art One Piece cards often show wear on dark borders and can have visible print lines or roller marks on the foil surface.
Storage. Store in a penny sleeve and rigid top loader or semi-rigid holder immediately after opening. For long-term protection, keep it in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight and humidity. Use graded slabs or sealed storage for high-value copies.
Authenticity. Verify crisp print quality, correct font and spacing, accurate color saturation, and proper texture/foil pattern for full-art variants. Counterfeits may show blurry text, incorrect card stock feel, off-center borders, or poor foil alignment. Compare against known authentic reference images, especially for high-end English One Piece cards.
