The VSTAR mechanic introduces a powerful once-per-game ability, highlighting its significance in Sword & Shield-era competitive play.

First released in the Pokémon TCG Sword & Shield – Crown Zenith set in January 2023 in English, as part of the Galarian Gallery subset.

• Features stunning Galarian Gallery artwork by GINKO, a renowned illustrator known for dynamic Pokémon depictions.
• Crown Zenith was the final Sword & Shield set, serving as a 'greatest hits' collection with special stamps.
• Leafeon VSTAR's ability 'Sun Soar' boosts Grass energy acceleration, making it viable in Grass decks.

Collector notes

Condition. Inspect centering on holo borders, sharp corners prone to dings, surface scratches on glossy Galarian Gallery finish, and print lines on artwork; common flaws include edge whitening and minor clouding.

Storage. Use semi-rigid top loaders with sleeves, store in cool dry environment away from sunlight to prevent holo oxidation, avoid stacking without dividers.

Authenticity. Verify holo pattern consistency and sharp text; fakes often have blurry stamps or incorrect GG numbering; cross-check with official scan databases like Pokémon TCG site or graded population reports; UV light reveals genuine foil sheen.
