History

Bulbasaur is the Grass/Poison-type Grass Seed Pokémon and the first Pokémon in the Pokédex, introduced in the original Pokémon Red and Green games set in the Kanto region. As a starter Pokémon alongside Charmander and Squirtle, it holds iconic status as the beginning of many trainers' journeys, evolving into Ivysaur and Venusaur, with its bulb containing a potent seed that grows as it matures.

First printed in the Pokémon TCG Scarlet & Violet - 151 set, released September 22, 2023 in English (originally revealed in Japanese Pokémon Card 151 on June 16, 2023).
