Market outlook
Stable Outlook 7/10
Demand is supported by Eevee’s popularity and promo-card collectibility, but broad promo availability keeps prices from behaving like true chase rares.
Next months. Expect mostly stable pricing with small fluctuations driven by graded-copy availability and general Eevee interest.
Long term. Likely slow appreciation for high-grade examples, while raw copies should remain relatively accessible unless promo interest rises again.
History
Evoli (Eevee) is one of the franchise’s most iconic Pokémon, introduced in Generation I and known for its unstable genetic makeup that allows it to evolve into multiple forms. Strahlendes Evoli is the Radiant Eevee variant, a shiny-style special version tied to the Pokémon GO era and the Sword & Shield promotional lineup, making it notable as a collectible showcase card for one of the most popular mascot Pokémon.
First released in 2022 as a German-language promo card in the Sword & Shield promotional line, distributed through the Pokémon GO: Strahlendes Evoli Premium-Kollektion product. The card is SWSH230 and belongs to the SWSH Black Star Promos group.
- German promo card numbered SWSH230 with the F regulation mark.
- Radiant Eevee is the shiny-style special form of Eevee and was released as a promo rather than in a normal booster set.
- The card is associated with the Pokémon GO special set / premium collection product line, and is widely collected because Eevee has strong fan demand.
Collector notes
Condition. Check the usual promo-card issues: edge whitening, surface scratches, print lines, corner wear, centering, and binder dents. Because promos are often handled straight from packaging, factory nicks and minor edge wear are common.
Storage. Store in a penny sleeve and rigid top loader or card saver, keep away from sunlight and humidity, and avoid stacking pressure. For long-term preservation, use archival sleeves and a binder with side-loading pockets if the card is kept unslabbed.
Authenticity. Authentic copies should match the German text, SWSH230 numbering, F regulation mark, and promo-style layout. Watch for incorrect font weight, poor color saturation, off-center borders, blurry text, or missing texture/foil quality inconsistencies on suspicious copies. Comparing against reputable scans is the best quick check.
